Work with us...

The National Archives has a skilled and diverse workforce. We value our people, performance, integrity and service, and we encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with a disability and people from every cultural and linguistic background.

See below for current vacancies, eligibility and our Collective Agreement 2007–10.

We also have a page on our procurement.

Opportunities to work for the National Archives

All opportunities for employment are advertised online, via eRecruitment – use it to obtain selection documentation and to apply for a position. You can also register yourself for non-ongoing employment opportunities. Or read more about eRecruitment.

If you intend to apply, make sure that you are eligible for employment (see below) and when you apply, that you address each of the selection criteria. Our assessment of candidates is based on your claims against these criteria.

For information on how to prepare your application, please see Cracking the Code: How to apply for jobs in the Australian Public Service.
