Mr Aladin Rahemtula OAM
Mr Aladin Rahemtula is the Queensland Supreme Court Librarian and was first appointed a member of the Advisory Council in August 2007. He was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in 2011 for service to librarianship through the Supreme Court of Queensland, and to the community through the preservation of legal heritage. Mr Rahemtula was reappointed to the Advisory Council in May 2011.
I was born in Uganda in 1948 and immigrated to Australia in 1976. I am particularly interested in constitutional history and judicial biography.
As a researcher and librarian, I greatly appreciate the invaluable work of the National Archives, which both protects and makes accessible the historical records of our nation.
