Ms Helen Williams AO
Ms Helen Williams is a recently retired senior public servant and was appointed by the Minister as Deputy Chair of the Advisory Council from 31 October 2009.
Having worked in the public service for nearly 40 years, I have developed a keen interest in the history of public administration and in the role of record keeping in preserving the nation's heritage.
I am particularly interested in increasing the accessibility of the wealth of information contained in the Archives to individual Australians.
