Each year, the National Archives nominates series of records to digitise and make available for viewing on the website. This work also helps preserve the original records.

You are welcome to nominate records series to include in the program. To nominate a record series, send the series title and number to ref@naa.gov.au. We assess all nominations against selection criteria to ensure that high-use, high-value or at-risk material is digitised first.
Please note that in the case of very large series, the digitisation work extends beyond a year.
