RSS stands for either rich site summary or really simple syndication. It is a way of keeping track of new web content – you can view headlines without actually visiting a site and then, if you choose, go to the site for the full story.

There are two ways to access the feeds: through a dedicated RSS reader, or through live bookmarks in a browser such as Firefox or Flock or Safari.
There are many available RSS readers. Several browsers now incorporate the live bookmarks feature, but Firefox was the first. When you've got the browser running, add a bookmark to the link at the top of this page.
