Lighthouse steamer Cape Leeuwin, launched on 10 December 1941. NAA: C4150, 36
Hull and machinery for lighthouse steamer Cape Leeuwin were constructed at Cockatoo Island Dockyard for the Commonwealth Lighthouse Service. The vessel was allocated ship number 101. It was laid down on 15 July 1924, launched on 10 December 1924, and completed on 1 June 1925. Cape Leeuwin was 225 feet in length between perpendiculars, and had gross tonnage of 1 406 tons.

This series consists of a folder containing a collection of certificates from Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, and related correspondence, for SS Euwarra and lighthouse steamer Cape Leeuwin. A second folder contains provisional and final certificates for the Cape Leeuwin, a certificate for its engines and boilers, a class certificate and freeboard verification form.
