Cargo ship SS Dundula
The cargo ship SS Dundula was not allocated a Cockatoo Dockyard ship number, but instead was known by its Commonwealth Line ship number 6. Laid down on 8 July 1918, SS Dundula was launched on 9 July 1919, and was completed on 3 November 1919. Both the Dundula and the Eudunda were constructed at the dockyard for the Commonwealth Government Line. Dundula was the first commercial cargo ship built at the dockyard. Its overall length was 331 feet and displacement was 3 344 tons.
