HMAS Koala

The boom defence vessel HMAS Koala was allocated ship numbers 135. It was laid down on 21 June 1939, launched on 4 November 1939, and completed on 27 March 1940. Its specifications were the same as for HMAS Kangaroo and HMAS Karangi. HMAS Koala was taken to Brisbane for scrap in 1971.
