Job number 6853 contains correspondence between Vickers Cockatoo Dockyard and NAVFCO, a French company that was contracted to produce and supply the technical data and reference books applicable to the French supplied equipment for the HMAS Success. It deals mainly with contractual issues, charges and expenses and includes a copy of the contract between the two parties.

Job number 2570 consists of the correspondence that relates to the assisted maintenance period (AMP) of HMAS Success. The AMP was a period when the ship returned to Cockatoo Island Dockyard for minor repairs and refitting.
