This appendix presents a selection of records transferred to the Archives in 2007–08 and major work undertaken to describe records and list them on the RecordSearch database.
Transfers
Table 27 outlines the main records series transferred to the Archives during the reporting period. Each entry lists the series title, agency that created the records, quantity of material transferred in metres, series number and a brief explanation of the content.

Description program
The Archives ensures that open access period records (records that have reached 30 years of age) in its custody are adequately described so that they are readily retrievable and more accessible to researchers.
