About Information Awareness Week

Information Awareness Week (IAW) is a collaborative event between organisations in the records, archives, library, knowledge, information, and data management communities.

During IAW, information professionals get together to promote modern and improved practices of managing information in Australia and by Australians.

This year's theme: AI and IM – Empowering intelligent futures across all domains

How is artificial intelligence transforming information management? What are the implications of AI for how information is managed and accessed? How do we ensure information maintains its integrity?

Join us for a stimulating program of events highlighting the connection between artificial intelligence (AI) and information management (IM).

Events and discussions will emphasise innovation and sustainability while maintaining the foundational principles of information management.

For archivists, records managers, health information managers, data scientists, librarians and professionals working in related fields.
