This is a black-and-white photograph of the Rt Hon. John Curtin, Australia's fourteenth Prime Minister. It shows him facing towards the camera in an official photograph. As the fourteenth Prime Minister, Curtin took office in October 1941 and presided over Australia for most of World War II.
