About Anthony Albanese

On 23 May 2022, Anthony Albanese became Australia’s 31st prime minister.
Albanese was first elected to parliament as the federal member for Grayndler in 1996.
He served as Deputy Prime Minister of Australia for the Rudd government from 27 June 2013 to 18 September 2013.
Albanese was elected leader of the Labor Party on 20 May 2019.
