Leigh Berrell joined the National Archives of Australia as Chief Information Officer and Assistant Director-General, Data & Digital in February 2024.

Leigh brings more than 25 years of technology leadership experience across a broad range of industries including utilities, aviation, transportation and logistics, retail, wholesale and distribution, peacekeeping and workforce staffing services. This experience will support the delivery of next-generation digital services at National Archives of Australia.

Leigh holds an MBA, an Honours Degree in Computer Science, a Graduate Certificate in Business and Technology, is an alumnus of the Darden Executive Program, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
