Letter to Gurindji Elder and strike leader Vincent Lingiari.
17 Dec 1968
Dear Mr. Lingiari,
The school children of Ku-Ring-Gai High School, North Turramurra, New South Wales, have raised $173.00 which they have asked to be used for the welfare of the Gurindji people and which they have handed over to me as trustee so that I can forward it to you.
I am now enclosing their cheque for $173.00.
They ask that you should use this as you think fit for the benefit of your people. Would you please let them know how you have decided to use it as I am sure they would appreciate very much hearing from you.
With all good wishes,
Yours sincerely,
(Sgd) W.C. Wentworth
