Dear Sir,
Referring to your letter of 17th.ult. [last month] 30/3188 addressed to G.Mehomet, Young, this letter has been sent on to us and we would be obliged if you would inform us what is the objection to a Certificate of Naturalisation being issued to this man, as if it is anything that can be rectified we would try and do so, or if it is a matter of policy, we can let him know the reason of the refusal.
Thanking you,
Yours truly,
L.L. Hogan & Smith.
