About this record
This is a colour photograph of young children diving off a special wheel at Manly, New South Wales, in January 1960. The photograph was taken by Bill Brindle, who worked for the Australian News and Information Bureau. The bureau promoted the Australian lifestyle and Australian events overseas, particularly to intending post-war migrants.
