Did you know that more than 250,000 people in Queensland claim German ancestry?

In honour of Brisbane German Week, join us for the launch of German Australian Community Centre Qld's digital edition of 'Queensland's German Connections' by Matthew Tesch, Peter Ludlow, Robin Kleinschmidt and Detlef Sulzer.

This seminar will explore content from 'Queensland's German Connections', as well as migrant selection documents, arrival records, and alien registration papers from the national archival collection that showcase the German migrant experience in Queensland.

This event is held in collaboration with the German Australian Community Centre Qld. Brisbane German Week is an initiative of the Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany, Brisbane.
