Paul Keating was the Prime Minister of Australia from 1991 to 1996.

Abeles, (Sir) Peter

Influential businessman from the 1970s until his death in 1999. An immigrant from postwar Hungary in 1949, he became head of TNT Transport, joint head of Ansett Airlines, and a friend and business partner of Rupert Murdoch. Abeles took part in the 1983 National Economics Summit, and was appointed to the Board of the Reserve Bank in 1984.

Garnaut, Ross

Chair of Australia’s Climate Change Review 2008 and Professor of Economics at the Australian National University.
