Is there anything to show why Pritchard never acted on this request.[sic]
There is nothing in any of Mr Pritchard’s letters re this particular case, but in several other cases I remember he stated that the reason why a few years back he did not act on similar appeals was because he thought it was useless to do so in view of the Dept’s [Department’s] constant refusals. Shall we ask Mr Pritchard for further explanation.[sic]
