I have the honour to tell you that I wrote you before beging [sic] of you to try and get me pass to come back Australia, you know me well and I live young street Fitzroy for many years. When I first come, you get me License from the court, I got Brother you know him He is in Benala by name Moula Dad and I also wrote him to try to get me pass and see you to come back. [continued] ... Business. I think I come back no harm I got no pass. But I go to shipping office Bombay that I find I not to able to come without the pass no matter what cost government wants I pay. You please my good friend get the pass port [sic] and I also wrote to Horsham Deen to get pass for me. Messrs Latouf & Calil & Jaboon they all know me. For God sake get the pass port for me & send quick I never forgot you.
